Arusha City Hospital was first established and opened on 17 October, 2021 by Hon. President Samia S. Hassan, as the declaration of United Republic of Tanzania (U.R.T) with the aim of ensuring the stability of health services provision under the Arusha City Council.

Arusha City Hospital was established to make sure the provision of Delivery Pack services, Both Communicable and Non-communicable Diseases are well being controlled and prevented by using our esteemed health specialists. Arusha City Hospital consist of 4+ Private Wards and More than 10 Public Wards for the Patients who get services in the hospital. Also, Arusha City Hospital gives services to around 1000+ people available in and out of Arusha City Council by their kinds of treatments including Out-Patient, In-Patients and other patients categories. Arusha City Hospital also deals with all Cash related Customers, NHIF and other insurance patients, CHF patients as well as the patients under Exemptions

Arusha City Hospital consists of several Departments / Services based sections including the following;

  • Out - Patient Department (OPD)
  • In - Patient Department(IPD)
  • Laboratory Department
  • Pharmacy Department
  • Imaging / Ultra Sound Department
  • Theatre Department
  • Nutrition Department
  • Labour Ward Department
  • Physiotherapy Department

Arusha City Hospital consists of several inventories and some resources through which our very esteemed health specialists tend to use in their daily Institutional tasks and responsibilities including the following;

  • 50+ Employees, including Medical Experts and other supporting Staffs in the Institution so as to enhance the provision of health services to the patients
  • 70+ Equipments including Medical Facilities, supporting infrastructures for ensuring the better provision of health services to the patients who attend at Arusha City Hospital for treatment
  • 150+ Furnitures Including those used by our very esteemed Medical experts in regarding to the provision of health service in the hospital
  • 24/7 Hours Service. In Arusha City Hospital, the health service is provided about 24/7 Hours by our very esteemed Medical experts to the patients
  • Good Customer Care including from our Medical experts, consultants as well as other customer support related departments in Arusha City Hospital
  • High Security Facilities, including the security manner from the entrance section of our hospital to the inner rooms and subsection of Arusha City Hospital for better service provision to the patients who attend for medical treatment

Arusha City Hospital provides the health services to the patients under the guideline of Tanzania Ministry of Health for the better output in the societies including those in Arusha City Council and out of nearby environment.
