1 Day Trip to Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park (ANAPA) is a gem of varied ecosystems and spectacular views of Mt. Meru, the crater that gives the region its name
Arusha National Park is very small, only 137 sq km, but the scenery is stunning, with the lofty peaks of Mount Meru, afromontane forests, craters and the Momela lakes. Only an hour's drive from Arusha, the park is usually forgotten in the rush to reach the Serengeti, but it is certainly worth a visit, especially for bird-lovers - over 570 bird species have been recorded.
Visitors to Arusha National Park can also climb Mount Meru. At 15000 feet, it's the fifth highest mountain in Africa and the ascent to the summit is a tough four day hike. On the way you'll pass herds of buffalo and giraffe and look for colobus monkeys in the trees. At the summit, you can watch the sun rise behind Kilimanjaro.
When television was young, there was a hugely popular show based on the still popular fictional characte
2 Days Midrange Safari
Ngorongoro National Park Entirely deserving of its UNESCO world heritage site status, this mid-size park contains three volcanic craters, forests, gorges, bush land & savannah. The famous Ngorongoro crater, 300 million years old, 20km in diameter and 600m deep, is the world's largest caldera. The area boasts the oldest known hominid footprints from 3.6 million years ago, and now sets a precedent for how humans and wildlife can coexist harmoniously. The wildlife in this area is stunning, diverse and abundant, giving a great chance of spotting "the big 5".
A Lake Manyara Safari is often overlooked. However, we recommend you consider this enchanting and interesting park. Lake Manyara is a long thin park that consists mostly of water, with the Great Rift Valley Escarpment rising sharply and dramatically along the western side.
Lake Manyara is well known for its tree climbing lions but don't be surprised if they avoid you; they are elusive and this is probably not the best safari destination for viewing big cats. On a positive note Lake Manyara is a great safari spot for bird viewing and also has a healthy population of ungulates such as buffalo and wildebeest.

There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. Late drive back to Arusha for drop off.

Tarangire Np / Lake Manyara Np / Ngorongoro Crater
Tarangire Safari
Go on a Tarangire Safari and experience the unrivalled landscape of open plains dotted with thousands of baobabs. Game viewing in Tarangire is largely affected by the presence of water, and during the dry season many animals congregate here in search of it. On a Tarangire safari you are also guaranteed to see large herds of elephants! As a holiday destination Tarangire is a lot less busy than other parks in the north of Tanzania. Going on a safari here offers you a chance to savour a real slice of Africa's wilderness and solitude.

Tarangire Np / Lake Manyara Np/ Serengeti Np / Ngorongoro Crater
The Serengeti National Park is famous for good reason. It is the scene of the incredible annual migration of 1.5 million wildebeest, somehow sensing how to follow the greenest plains for survival. The Maasai, who have grazed their cattle here for millennia, call it 'the place where the land moves on forever'. Of course, the wildebeest share this astounding home with many other fascinating animals, including top predators and even a few rare black rhino.

Book NowThe Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route begins in the west and rather than simply intersecting Shira Plateau (like Machame), Lemosho crosses it from Shira Ridge to Shira Camp. Climbers encounter low traffic until the route joins the Machame route.
DetailsThe Machame route, also known as the “Whiskey” route, is the most popular route on Kilimanjaro. Machame’s draw is in its scenic beauty. However, the trail is considered difficult, steep and challenging, particularly due to its shorter itinerary.
DetailsThe Rongai route is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. Though gaining popularity amongst climbers, this route still experiences low crowds. Rongai has a more gradual slope than the mountain’s other routes.
DetailsDoes Kilimanjaro hold a special fascination for you? Are you planning to realise your dream through the Shira Route? Take a deep breath and read through! We say a deep breath because the Shira route catapults you to an altitude of 3600 meters on the very first day and leaves you gasping for air.
